2 ½ Hour Fishing Trips

Our 2 ½ hour fishing trips are a fantastic way for the whole family to get out on the water and offer the perfect introduction to rod & line sea fishing. Have fun and learn more about the local marine environment as we sustainably fish the local waters of Plymouth Sound.

Available for individual bookings or private charter trips, from family days, corporate events and educational trips, to birthday treats or hen and stag parties, our fishing trips offer an exciting activity for everyone.

Your Trip

Using the rod and line method, we fish scenic areas around Plymouth Sound, River Tamar and the edge of the Breakwater, aiming for different species throughout the year.  Mackerel is predominant within our waters during high season, but we hope to bump into other species such as pollock, bass, dogfish and more.

We’ll teach you the basics of jigging a hooked feather – the flash of the hooks attracts the fish, and you’ll know when you get a bite, with the unmistakable jiggle of the rod tip!

Cook Your Catch

After your fishing trip, why not book in at one of our partner restaurants and relax while your catch is filleted and cooked for you!

All equipment and safety gear are provided onboard, simply dress for the weather.
