Mar. 2017
A brand new service for 2017, Plymouth Boat Trips introduces The Barbican to Mount Edgcumbe Ferry.
Providing regular 15 minute crossings between Plymouth’s famous Barbican and Cremyll in Cornwall, this new ferry service is the perfect way to visit Mount Edgcumbe Country Park or for sightseeing and shopping in and around Plymouth.
The beautiful village of Cremyll is home to historic Mount Edgcumbe house, once lived in by the Earls of Mount Edgcumbe. Set in Grade 1 Cornish Gardens within 865 acres of Country Park on the Rame Peninsula, this stunning part of South East Cornwall is now just a hop away from the Barbican.
With Drakes Circus shopping centre and a plethora of shops, restaurants and cafés in and around the city centre, alongside the National Marine Aquarium and the historic Barbican, Plymouth has plenty to offer for those travelling on a day trip from Cornwall.
Mount Edgcumbe Country Park is open to the public daily. Mount Edgcumbe House is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
